Team 1011 CRUSH engages students and their mentors to solve
a problem presented by the FIRST Robotics Competition. Our
team has grown from a mere idea to become a striving FIRST
robotics team. Our team is the first and only team located in Tucson,
Arizona. This year marks the third year we will be competing
at the Arizona Regional, and words cannot describe how
appreciative we are.
In our first year we were selected to compete at nationals,
and won the Rookie All-Star award. In our second year we
competed in the Arizona Regional and came in third place,
and in our third year although we were unsuccessful in
winning (because of a faulty speed controller) we were happy
to learn from the experience. This year we will be striving to become even better! We are backed by a group of outstanding sponsors, and
mentors who understand just how much we enjoy being a part
of the spirit of FIRST.
